Situated in the heart of the 32209 zip code, a designated food desert where access to fresh and nutritious food is limited, we are committed to fighting hunger and uplifting families who face daily challenges in securing basic necessities.
Each month, we host comprehensive food distribution events that provide vital groceries to between 300 and 600 families, many of whom are single-parent households with an average size of 3.36 people. Our efforts directly address the critical issue of food insecurity by bringing nourishing food into an area where healthy options are scarce. Beyond grocery giveaways, we serve hot and cold prepared meals regularly to ensure immediate access to wholesome nutrition for those who may lack cooking facilities or urgent food access.
In addition to food support, we offer clothing distributions and operate a personal hygiene kit program, providing weekly supplies of essential hygiene products, feminine care items, and sanitation supplies. These services are designed to restore dignity, health, and comfort to low- and moderate-income individuals and families throughout Northeast Jacksonville.
Our commitment goes beyond providing essentials; we aim to build lasting relationships through compassionate service, consistent outreach, and community engagement. Our Food Distribution Program is a cornerstone of our commitment to fighting hunger and fostering hope within our community. We recognize that access to nutritious food is not just a basic need—it’s a foundation for health, stability, and dignity. That’s why our program is dedicated to providing consistent, compassionate support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, ensuring that no one in our community has to go without a meal.
Thanks to the unwavering generosity of donors and the strength of our partnerships with local nonprofit organizations, we are able to meet urgent and ongoing needs by distributing a wide variety of food resources. These include essential grocery staples, such as dry goods, canned items, and fresh produce, empowering families to prepare nutritious meals in their own homes. For those without access to cooking facilities or facing immediate hardship, we also provide hot and cold prepared meals that are ready to enjoy on-site or take home.
Every item we distribute represents more than just nourishment—it represents a community that cares. Clothing and more Distribution
We are deeply committed to supporting and uplifting our community through our Clothing & More Distribution Program, an outreach effort designed to provide essential items to individuals and families facing hardship. We believe that everyone—regardless of their circumstances—deserves access to clean clothing, hygiene products, and other basic necessities that many may take for granted. Through this initiative, we offer a wide range of items completely free of charge, ensuring that those in need can feel seen, respected, and cared for.
Our clothing selection includes gently used and new items for men, women, and children of all sizes, including seasonal outerwear, shoes, and everyday essentials. These items are carefully sorted and organized by our dedicated volunteers to ensure quality, cleanliness, and dignity in every distribution. In addition to clothing, we provide personal hygiene kits containing items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, and feminine care products—supplies that are critical to health, self-esteem, and daily comfort.
